THE GAMES
MOONBURN
Fire is your weapon. The arena is the problem.
MoonBurn is a hand-drawn 2.5D top-down action game about surviving unstable combat zones filled with fire, ice, and enemies. Use your flamethrower to control space, burn through threats, and turn the arena itself into part of the fight.
Combat is built around readable chaos. Fire can spread across the ground, build heat on characters, slow movement, and force enemies to react. Some encounters lock down into quarantine zones, trapping you inside until the enemies are cleared and extraction becomes available.
MoonBurn is being developed as a compact, focused indie action game with bold visuals, clear silhouettes, and systems that create messy, funny, dangerous moments. The goal is simple: every fight should feel like it is one bad decision away from becoming completely out of control.
FEATURES
- Use fire to control the arena: Your flamethrower creates hazards, pressure, and opportunities. Fire is not just visual feedback — it changes how the fight moves.
- Survive quarantine encounters: Trigger lockdown events, fight inside sealed combat zones, and escape once the area is clear.
- Fight enemies that react to the world: Enemies can chase, attack, get stunned, burn, avoid hazards, and respond to danger in the arena.
- Hand-drawn 2.5D action: Characters are built with hand-drawn Spine animation inside a 2.5D Unreal world, giving the game a bold illustrated look.
- Readable chaos: Designed around messy fights that still stay understandable: clear silhouettes, strong feedback, and effects that support the action instead of hiding it.
